Staybridge Celtic Midfielder Makes Colne Move

Colne have unveiled the signing of former Staybridge Celtic midfielder Anthony Williams.
The former Fleetwood Town midfielder joins Nathan Rooney’s side after spending the previous season with the Reds on a loan spell from Staybridge Celtic. Williams played for the Northern Premier League Division One West side on loan until the season was curtailed. He has now made his move to Colne permanent as he signs for the club.
Williams told the club’s website: “I loved the place last year and the fans are fantastic. I was delighted when the Gaffer called me and can't wait to get started again. The lads are fantastic and the club has real ambition.”
Williams is expected to head out onto the field tonight as Colne takes on Hyde United.
