Former Blyth Spartans Midfielder Signs For Scarborough Athletic

Scarborough Athletic boss Jonathan Greening has bolstered his team’s midfield options with the addition of vastly experienced midfielder Simon Heslop to the Seadogs.
Heslop brings to Flamingo Land Stadium the experience he has gained over the years playing for the likes of Oxford United, Mansfield Town, Torquay United, Wrexham, and York City. Heslop initially began his career at the youth set-up at Barnsley where he enjoyed successful loan spells with several clubs such as Kidderminster Harriers, Tamworth, Northwich Victoria, Halifax, Grimsby, Kettering, and Luton Town.
Heslop, 34, has turned down several other offers to join the promotion-seeking side.
