Yeovil win for Linnets!

Second half goals from Ethan Coleman and Munashe Sundire saw Lynn get their first win of the season, coming from behind to beat Yeovil Town.
With Junior Morias suspended Lynn made one change; Malachi Linton starting. New loan signing Brett McGavin was named on the bench.
Lynn starting the game well, keeping possession but without creating too many chances although Linton had a half chance early on but couldn’t get a shot at goal. It was the hosts who had the first real chance, Charlie Wakefield’s effort comfortably saved by Paul Jones.
The hosts took the lead on 15 minutes. Joe Quigley picking the ball up 30 yards from goal and with the Lynn defence standing off him he riffled an effort past Jones giving the Lynn keeper no chance.
Lynn grew into the game with a Tyler Denton effort going wide before Gold Omotayo forced Grant Smith into an excellent save with a header from the six yard box and a further chance for Joe Rowley went over.
A pivotal moment of the game came on 38 minutes when Matt Worthington was shown a red card for a challenge on Denton. The Lynn player able to continue after treatment.
On the stroke of half-time good defending from Morgan Williams stopped Omotayo getting a shot away.

The second half saw Yeovil start well without creating a chance of note before Lynn starting getting more of the ball and creating opportunities.
Lynn made an attacking change on 65 minutes when Michael Gyasi replaced Luis Fernandez. Gyasi causing problems with his pace and movement.
On 67 minutes a brilliant block from Yeovil defender Jordan Barnett prevented Lynn from equalising but within 4 minutes the Linnets were level when Coleman headed home a Ross Barrows cross for his first goal in a Lynn shirt.
Lynn kept pushing and were dominating the game and the winner came on 85 minutes from another Barrows cross. This time the Lynn right back found Omotayo whose header hit the bar before Munashe Sundire got a touch to put the ball in the back of the net much to the delight of the travelling Lynn fans.
