St Albans City Defender Devante Stanley Suffers Major Injury

St Alban City have given a further update on full-back Devante Stanley’s condition after suffering a serious injury during the Saints’ National League South clash against Tonbridge Angles on Monday.
The 25-year-old has suffered a broken tibia and fibula and undergone multiple surgeries. Unfortunately, this means that he will be sitting on the sides for a while now until he recovers.
Stanley was floored at the 85th minute when he went into a tackle. Following this, an ambulance was called and the medical advice given by the doctors on site was that he not be moved from the ground. Subsequently, the match was abandoned even though City was leading by one goal at the time.
