York City Striker Joins The Bucks

Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division side Buxton FC have announced the signing of former York City striker Jason Gilchrist to their squad. 26-year-old Gilchrist began his career with Manchester City at the age of only six where he spent a total of ten years before joining the youth team at Burnley. He made his debut into senior football when he joined Conference North side Droylsden on loan in 2013. He then went on to make several appearances for a number of clubs including Accrington Stanley, Chester FC, FC United of Manchester, Southport, South Shields, and Stockport County. Gilchrist made his debut for the Bucks on Saturday during their 3-0 win against Ashton United at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium.
