Truro City have further strengthened their defensive ranks for the 2020/21 season with the extension of contracts of two more of their key players. Extending their stay at Trewey Road are Ed Palmer and Ryan Dickson.

29-year-old Palmer started his career with Torquay and went on to play for Weymouth and Kettering Town. He first joined Truro in 2015 and was part of the squad that won the Southern Premier play-offs. Following spells with Bideford and Bodmin Town, Palmer returned to Truro City back in 2017 only to join Taunton in October 2018. He re-joined the White Tigers in October 2019 after departing Taunton Town.

34-year-old left-back Dickson joined Paul Wotton’s side in May 2020 after a successful loan spell from Torquay United. His CV includes playing for Brentford, Southampton, Colchester United, and Crawley Town.
