After signing a new one-year contract with the club, Watford goalkeeper Adam Parkes has signed a loan deal with Dover Athletic that will keep him at Crabble Stadium for the duration of the upcoming season.

Parkes, who joined the Hornets from Southampton in January 2019, spent the end of the last campaign on loan as well with Barnet FC and will now see another loan spell with yet another National League club.

The 21-year-old stopper has previously been capped by the England Under-17s. He came through the ranks at Southampton since joining the club at the age of 10 and signed his first professional contract at St Mary's in December 2016.
