Former Boston United Custodian George Sykes-Kenworthy Joins The Green Army Bradford Park Avenue have announced the signing of goalkeeper George Sykes-Kenworthy from Boston United.

The signing of 22-year-old Sykes-Kenworthy widens Bradford Park’s options inside the goal alongside their regular custodian Jonny Saltmer. Sykes-Kenworthy began his career with Bradford City at an under-18 level before signing a two-year professional contract for the club in 2028.

In May 2018, he was named the club’s ‘Youth Team Player of the Year! for the 2017/18 season and went to make his senior debut for the Bantams in September 2019 in the EFL Trophy. George departed Bradford City in June 2020 before he joined Derby County in October the same year. He joined Boston United in August 2021.
