Torquay United Add Exeter City Defender Jack Sparkes
Torquay United have announced the signing of highly-rated Exeter City wing-back Jack Sparkes on a one-month loan deal. The 21-year-old, who signed a one-year contract extension back in October at St James Park, has joined the National League side on a one-month loan. He made his first debut for the Grecians back in 2017 before he went on to make nearly 100 first-team appearances for the EFL League Two side. Unfortunately, Sparkes was unable to clock up many first-team appearances this season due to injury which is why this switch to Plainmoor Stadium presents itself as the perfect opportunity for him to gain some playing time under his belt. Sparkes will be available for the Gulls’ home tie against Stockport on Saturday.
