Chester FC have confirmed that their search for a new manager to lead the next stage of the club’s development is still ongoing.

Chester FC have been manager-less ever since former joint managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley departed the club towards the end of last month. Chester FC chairman Andy Morris has stated that until a suitable replacement is found for the former managers, the club is in safe hands under the guidance of interim manager Danny Livesey.

Morris told the club’s website that he is pleased with the job Livesey has been doing at running the club while the board puts shortlists candidates. Livesey will also be leading the squad this Saturday as they clash against Spennymoor.
