Notts County vs Dover Athletic Clash Called Off
After travelling a long trip down south to face Dover Athletic, Notts County were informed at the last minute that their match has been called off. A pitch inspection was conducted this afternoon just 90 minutes before the scheduled kickoff time following which the referee deemed the pitch unplayable due to the rain. Notts County said that they were not informed at all about the pitch inspection or about the match being in doubt. “We can only apologise to supporters who have made another wasted journey”, said Notts County on their club website.
