Striker Jack Hindle Joins The Gladiators
Matlock Town have confirmed the addition of a new face to their squad. Joining the Gladiators is former Barrows striker Jack Hindle as he signs a deal with the Northern Premier League Premier Division side. 28-year-old Hindle is manager Paul Phillips’s third attacking signing in a period of two weeks following the acquisition of Terry Hawkridge and Marcus Marshall. Hindle joined the Bluebirds back in 2018 where he was a regular for them in the National League. He was Barrow’s top scorer in the 2018/19 season. He also spent the next two seasons with the club amassing a total of 13 goals to his name in 70 appearances for the Bluebirds. Hindle was released from Barrow in January 2021 following which he joined Malaysian club Kelantan. He now joins the Gladiators and will be available to play during tomorrow’s top-of-the-table clash against South Shields.
