Josh Askew Joins The Reds From Chester FC
National League North side Alfreton Town have bolstered their defence options with the addition of defender Josh Askew to their squad. Askew, aged 23, joins the Reds after recently having his contract with Chester FC mutually terminated. Askew, who began his career with Blackburn Rovers, had rejoined the Seals in the summer following a spell with them during the last campaign. Askew brings to North Street plenty of first-team experience that he gained while playing for clubs such as Salford City, Curzon Ashton, Boston United, Clitheroe, and Ashton United. Askew made his debut for manager Billy Heath’s side on Tuesday during their clash against Kettering Town.
