Aldershot signs Wycombe defender Giles Phillips on loan.
Defender for Championship club Wycombe Wanderers, Giles Phillips has once again made his way to The EBB Stadium as he has signed with Aldershot Town on loan. The one-month deal was signed on Tuesday. Wasting no time, he immediately made his mark with the club by playing against Maidenhead United on the same day of his signing where his side achieved a 4-2 victory.
Philips joined The Chairboys on a permanent contract last summer. The 23-year-old, who hasn’t played a single first-team game for Wycombe this season, had previously made ten appearances with The Shots last year during his first spell with the club. His last game with Wycombe was the 4-0 away defeat against Peterborough United in January where he received a red card 21 minutes into the game.
