Hornchurch is set to make their trip to Blackwell Meadows as they take on Darlington in the FA Trophy quarter-finals today.

Hornchurch is the only team from below Step Two to make it this far in the competition; this being only the second time ever in their history since 2004. Hornchurch has played impressively this season to reach the quarter-finals, having defeated the likes of Maidstone United, King`s Lynn Town, Dulwich Hamlet, Tonbridge Angels, Bowers and Pitsea, and Wingate and Finchley.

Standing in The Urchins’ way to victory are winners of the 2011 FA Trophy, Darlington F.C. This is the third time Darlington has ever reached this stage of the competition and has proven to be fierce opponents this season, having knocked out Liverpool City, AFC Telford United, and Weymouth. If the Urchins stand victorious this afternoon, they will be one step closer to Wembley Stadium.
