York City makes six signings ahead of the next season

As the dates of the 2021/22 season have been announced, York City looks to strengthen its squad with the signing of six players for the next campaign.
Defender Sean Newton; midfielders Scott Barrow, Olly Dyson, and Akil Wright; and goalkeeper Pete Jameson have signed extended deals with York City in anticipation of the 2021/22 season. Defender Matty Brown is already signed for the upcoming season since he signed a two-year contract when he joined the Minstermen back in September 2020.
The management at York City looks to make more signings as negotiations continue with other players.
