Former Chelmsford City Head of Operations Steve Pitt praised for his efforts for the club as he exits

Following the announcement from Chelmsford City that their head of football operations, Steve Pitt, has departed the club, Robbie Simpson has thanked Pitt for his services.
Pitt initially joined the Clarets back in May 2016 as part of Rod Stringer’s management team. After Stringer was sacked, Pitt left the club only to return as the head of football operations in March 2020 after receiving an invitation from the current management team.
Robbie Simpson told the club’s website: “Pittsy has served many years for Chelmsford and has done a fantastic job.” Simpson said that Pitt helped him settle as manager and wished him the best for his future.
