New deal for Banbury United

Banbury United have agreed a new two-year deal with manager Andy Whing.
The former Coventry City full-back took over as Puritans boss last May.
The Southern League Premier Central club’s chairman Phil Lines said: “We are delighted that Andy has agreed a new deal. He made a big impression in the short time we were able to play in 2020 and we are sure there are more good things to come with him as our manager.”
Ex-Brighton & Hove Albion and Oxford United man Whing said: “I am proud to be part of such a fantastic club and that the board have showed their faith in me to continue as manager.
“There is real momentum here and I can’t wait to build on the work that was cut short last season. I want more days like the Bury Town one for the club’s brilliant supporters to enjoy.”
