Notts County loan players Richardson and Effiong return to parent clubs

Following the expiration of their contracts, forward Inih Effiong and defender Kenton Richardson have both departed Notts County to return to their parent clubs.
21-year-old Richardson joined Notts County in March on a one-month deal from Sunderland United to replace debutant Tylor Golden after he sustained an injury.
30-year-old Effiong made his way to Meadow Lane back in January and has since made 12 appearances for the Magpies. During his time, he managed to net one penalty goal during the draw against Boreham Wood.
County head coach Ian Burchnall explained that the restriction on the number of loan players they can name in their squad makes it difficult to guarantee Effiong and Richardson game time. He thanked the two for their efforts and wished them the best for their future.
