Margate recruit former Tonbridge Angels midfielder, Ben Greenhalgh

Following his departure from Tonbridge Angels, Ben Greenhalgh has put pen to paper to sign for Margate as they look to strengthen their striking options in their 2021/22 squad.
The 28-year-old will reunite with former manager Jay Saunders having played under him during his time at Maidstone United. Greenhalgh is currently an academy coach at Dartford and will be extending his coaching career at Margate as well.
Greenhalgh brings a wealth of experience to the Gates having played for non-league sides such as Ebbsfleet United, Welling United, Dartford FC, and most recently Tonbridge Angels.
Margate manager Jay Saunders believes that Greenhalgh’s experience and leadership skills will prove to be a real asset for his side.
