Tom Shaw joins Gainsborough Trinity as first-team head coach

Tom Shaw is to set to replace Curtis Woodhouse as he joins Gainsborough Trinity as head coach following the former boss’s departure from the Blues in February.
Shaw is currently the manager for Lincoln City’s youth team as well as the head of football at Nottingham Trent University and will continue these roles during his time with Gainsborough. 34-year-old Shaw offers Gainsborough a wealth of experience in non-league football that he garnered during his playing career. He has had spells with Kidderminster, Tamworth, and Chester FC.
Lincoln City has been generous enough to relieve Shaw from some of his duties at their academy so that he may be able to take up this new role ahead of the 2021/22 season.
