Bath City FC needs £25,000

Bath City say the club have appealed last month’s punishment handed out by the National League.
The Romans were given a £4000 fine and a suspended four-point deduction for failing to fulfil fixtures.
The National League South club also say they have written directly to the National League ‘to express our views and call for a re-think.’
The club have added as part of a statement: “The club board has established that we need to find approximately £25,000 to cover unbudgeted expenses, including league fines, structural safety works, electrical upgrades and substantial pitch drainage works.
“We are appealing the fines and have applied for grants for the pitch but in the meantime have to meet these obligations regardless of success of those applications.
“Next week, we will be addressing the shortfall in two ways – asking 2020/21 season ticket holders whether they will consider gifting all or part of the cost of their season ticket to the club; and opening a general Crowdfunder appeal so that all supporters can help the club get over what we hope are the last obstacles to getting through this season and being able to welcome supporters back to Twerton Park in the summer.”
