Former Chester striker joins promotion-chasing side Hartlepool

Following his release from Chester FC, striker Danny Elliott has put pen to paper to sign with Hartlepool for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old forward was released from Chester earlier this week to give him the opportunity to play regular football for the rest of 2020/21 season. Following his departure from the Blues, Hartlepool has wasted no time in securing the services of the former Port Vale player as they seek to earn a promotion back to the Football League.
The addition of Elliott to the Pools’ squad will add on to the club’s striking options at this crucial point in the season.
