Defender Nathan Dale leaves the Tynesiders

Gateshead FC has announced the departure of defender Nathan Dale from Gateshead International Stadium.
Following his release from Championship side Middlesborough, Dale had joined Mike Williamson’s side back in September 2020 on a one-year deal but now leaves earlier than expected upon mutual termination of his contract. Dale had been with Middlesborough since the age of seven before joining the Tynesiders. Dale made 7 appearances for Gateshead before the season was cut short due to the pandemic.
Joining the 21-year-old defender on his departure is goalkeeper James Montgomery who has joined National League side, Chesterfield.
