Stockport County complete deal on Newby

Stockport County have completed the signing of loanee Elliot Newby from Chorley.
The attacking midfielder joined County along with Chorley teammate Harry Cardwell on loan in late-February.
The 25-year-old now signs a two-year contract with the National League side, moving for an undisclosed fee.
Hatters boss Simon Rusk told the club’s website: “Elliot has come into the group and impressed with his enthusiasm, hard work and creativity.
“He gives the group strong attacking options, and this permanent deal allows us to continue working together into the future. I look forward to helping Elliot further develop his career and achieve our shared ambitions over the next couple of years.”
