Alex Reid extends his stay with Stockport County

Centre-forward Alex Reid has committed his future to Stockport County after signing an extended contract.
The former Stevenage striker initially linked up with Simon Rusk’s side in the summer last year on a one-year deal and now the signing of this new deal will see Alex Reid stay at Edgeley Park for another two years. The 25-year-old former Aston Villa academy product has excelled during his time with Stockport and contributed immensely to the club’s rise in the league standings having netted 18 goals for the Hatters in 38 appearances.
Reid’s 14 National League goals make him the third-highest goalscorer in the division in the current campaign.
