Hull City surprise move!

Stockport County defender Macauley Southam-Hales has been linked with a shock move to Hull City this summer.
The right-wing back has impressed for the Edgeley Park club in the National League this season, starting 14 games and coming off the bench in seven more as the Hatters attempt a return to the Football League after an absence of 10 years.
City along with Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town and promotion rivals Lincoln City are monitoring the 25-year-old’s situation, though Hull Live understands such reports are wide of the mark.
City are blessed with arguably the best two right-backs in League One in Lewie Coyle and Josh Emmanuel, and the pair will be given the chance to battle it out for a starting berth next season as they’ve done strongly this term, with little doubt about their ability to make the step-up to Championship level.
The duo both arrived on the same day last summer, with Emmanuel taking full advantage of Coyle’s early season suspension carried over from a play-off semi-final with old club Fleetwood Town, a former club of Southam-Hales, as it happens.
Since dislodging Emmanuel in mid-January, Coyle has been an ever-present for City, taking the captain’s armband in recent weeks after Richie Smallwood picked up a knee injury. Source: hulldailymail.co.uk
