New manager for Staines Town
Staines Town have announced the appointment of Mick Woodham as their new manager.
Woodham succeeds Paul Barnes at the Isthmian South Central Division side.
Barnes left the club back in January to take over at Guildford City, with Staines announcing that they were holding off on naming a successor until there was official confirmation over the 2020/21 season’s outcome.
On appointing former Windsor manager Woodham, chairman Kevin Rowell told the club’s website:
“I am very excited to be working with Mick as we face the challenge of returning to football following a long lay-off. We had a number of excellent applicants for the post, and Mick greatly impressed us with his solid work ethic and his deep understanding of the game at our level.”
