Burns returns to Westfield Lane

Defender Danny Burns has reunited with the Blues once again after signing for Northern Premier League Division One South East club Frickley Athletic.
The central defender joins manager Dave Frecklington’s side from Stafford Rangers and will be taking on the role of captain of Frickley Athletic for the next season. Burns’s CV includes playing for Cambridge United, Buxton, Nuneaton, and Gateshead. It was from National League side Gateshead that Burns first joined Frickley on loan where he was part of the squad that failed to achieve a promotion in 2018.
Burns intends on leading the Frickley squad towards promotion by any means necessary this season and is confident in his abilities to achieve this goal.
