Former Sheffield Wednesday youth product joins the Celts

Following his departure from Buxton FC, defender Connor O’Grady has committed his future to Stalybridge Celtic after signing for the club ahead of the 2021/22 season.
O’Grady came through the youth academy at Sheffield Wednesday and made his debut for the Owls back in 2016 in the EFL Cup. He left the club back in 2019 to join Buxton in the Northern Premier League Division. The 23-year-old will now be arriving at Bower Fold to join the Celts’ squad that looks to gain a promotion heading into the upcoming National League North season.
