Solihull Moors bid farewell to Mark Yates

Solihull Moors have confirmed that interim manager Mark Yates will be departing Damson Park after the season ends following Saturday’s final match of the season against Eastleigh.
51-year-old Yates and his assistant Neil Howarth will both be returning to their roles at Southern Premier Central Division side Stourbridge following the end of their short-term contracts with the Moors. Yates took charge of Solihull back in March to replace Jimmy Shan who was sacked from the club. At the time, he was in charge of the Glassboys but since their season was suspended, Yates was allowed to return to his former club temporarily.
Not only did Yates manage to lead the Moors in 10 victories in only 18 fixtures, but he also managed to maintain an unbeaten home record during his short time with the club.
