Ebbsfleet retain skipper!

The skipper’s back with the club for next season as Ebbsfleet United can announce that Lee Martin has been retained for 2021/22.
The hugely experienced signing from Exeter City last summer played 17 times in 2020/21, scoring four goals, to add to the 350 League appearances he has amassed in an exceptional career that has included Manchester United, Rangers, Nottingham Forest, Ipswich Town, Charlton Athletic, Millwall, Gillingham and Exeter City.
Behind the scenes, as well as on the pitch, Martin’s professionalism has been first-rate from the day he joined the club and he has commanded great respect in the dressing-room while acting as a constant source of encouragement and knowledge for the club’s younger players.
At the end of last season, he was also presented with a club memento by manager Dennis Kutrieb who singled out Martin’s efforts in achieving the highest performing training stats of any player, built up by our sports science department across all the season’s training sessions.
