Striker Jordan Thewlis joins Guiseley

Following his departure from Boston United after spending nearly two years with the club, striker Jordan Thewlis has announced via Twitter that he has signed with former National League North rivals Guiseley.
Thewlis enjoyed two successful seasons with the Pilgrims where he netted 22 goals in 53 appearances. The 28-year-old striker declined the offer of a one-year extension on his contract with the Pilgrims and said he was gutted to be leaving Boston United because he required at least a two-year contract to continue at Jakemans Community Stadium.
The former Harrogate Town player is one of the several former Boston United players to have found a new club ahead of the 2021/22 season.
