Defender Chris Smith departs King's Lynn Town by mutual consent

After spending almost two years with the club, King’s Lynn Town defender Chris Smith has decided to depart The Walks Stadium by mutual consent.
After spending most of his career at League One club Ipswich Town, Smith joined the Linnets in 2019. He made 20 appearances in his first season with the club as he helped Ian Culverhouse’s side gain promotion from the National League North. He made a further 27 starts for the club in the 2020/2021 season.
Unfortunately, 23-year-old Smith will not be returning to the club for a third season as he cancels his contract ahead of the 2021/22 season.
