Stockport release 11 players

As Stockport County’s 2020/21 National League campaign came to an end on Sunday, the club has released a retained and released list that announced the departure of eleven players from Edgeley Park.
These players have been released upon the expiration of their contracts and will not return to the club for the 2021/22 season.
The players being released following the end of their current contracts without any extension are Josh Barnes, Ross Fitzsimons, Adam Owen, Finley Stanyer, Alex Curran, Max Greenhalgh, Jack Hopkins, Harvey Gilmour, Adam Thomas, and Nyal Bell. Joining these players on their departure is defender Jordan Downing who has had his contract with the club cancelled by mutual consent.
