Experienced Duo Departs Chesterfield

Chesterfield have announced the departure of striker Scott Boden and defender David Buchanan from the club before the 2021/22 season.
31-year-old Boden joined Chesterfield initially in 2008 after which he spent six years with the club before departing it in 2013. During this time, he scored 15 goals in 104 league appearances for the club. Boden went on to re-join the Spireites in 2019 and played a key role in maintaining Chesterfield’s position in the National League. He scored 23 goals in only 58 appearances for the club.
35-year-old left-back Buchanan joined John Sheridan’s side in 2019 from Northampton Town and made 37 appearances for the club.
