Striker Fenelon Scores Right Off The Bat

Horsham striker Shamir Fenelon has wasted no time and has immediately shown why he is a great acquisition for the Hornets. The 26-year-old Irish striker scored in his debut for Horsham last night against Dorking Wanderers.
The former Albion striker started the match and within only ten minutes into the game managed to net a goal that gave the Hornets the lead. Midfielder Lucas Rodrigues managed to make the pass to Alex Laing who laid it off to Fenelon who curled his strike onto the top corner of the goalpost.
Fenelon was, however, taken off the field in the 55th minute. Two goals in the final 16 minutes by former Albion midfielders Wes Fogden and James McShane completely changed the outlook of the match and resulted in a 1-2 defeat for the Hornets.
