No Southend deal for trial duos

DEON Moore and Yasin Ben El-Mhanni will not be offered contracts by Southend United. Moore, a former Peterborough United striker, and ex Newcastle United winger El-Mhanni had featured for the Shrimpers in pre-season. But Echosport understands the duo will not be offered deals to remain at Roots Hall. Blues boss Phil Brown remains in talks with the other players still on trial with Blues, Norwich City attacker Matt Dennis, former Blues midfielder Will Atkinson, QPR striker Hamzad Kargbo and ex Derby County goalkeeper Emmanuel Idem. |
