With the 2020/21 season about to commence, Covid has once again struck the players of Chester FC and forced the postponement of the National League North club’s first fixture of the season.
Chester FC was scheduled to face Curzon Ashton on Saturday at the Deva Stadium but unfortunately, due to a rising number of positive Covid tests from within the Blues’ squad, the match has now been confirmed as postponed. This was to be the opening fixture of the 2021/22 season, the postponement of which has left fans from both sides disappointed.
