Southend United Gun For Ricky Holmes

Ahead of their match against Eastleigh on Tuesday, Southend United are looking to sign winger and defender Ricky Holmes to their squad.
The Shrimpers have struggled the past few games having lost their last four matches in a row. In an attempt to score a win, the club has got their eyes on former Southend United man Ricky Holmes.
Holmes played for the Shrimpers last season where he made 14 appearances for the club before departing Roots Hall to join Farnborough Town in the summer.
"I’m also interested in bringing Ricky Holmes in but whether or not I can get that one over the line before Tuesday night is another question,” said Southend United manager Phil Brown.
