Manager Phil Brown Departs Southend United

Southend United are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of their boss Phil Brown from the club.
The news comes after Southend United recently suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Chesterfield yesterday at the Roots Hall Stadium. The National League club has already recently under been hot water with fans protesting against the owner of the Shrimpers Ron Martin.
Before Tuesday’s victory over Eastleigh, Southend United had suffered four consecutive games under the management of Brown. The victory over Eastleigh only delayed the inevitable exit of Brown from the club.
Departing alongside Phil Brown is his assistant manager Craig Fagan who has also been relieved of his managerial duties.
