Charlton Athletic Manager Relieved From His Duties

After spending seven months in charge of the club, Charlton Athletic manager Nigel Adkins will now be departing the League One club.
With only two wins from their 13 league fixtures this season, Charlton Athletic, who currently sit in the relegation zone, have decided to part ways with the former Hulls boss.
However, the Addicks were not always in such a difficult position under Adkins’s leadership. Adkins, who was appointed in March, almost lead the Addicks to the play-offs during the 2020/21 campaign.
Assistant manager Johnnie Jackson will take charge of the Addicks as interim manager until a suitable replacement is appointed.
