Tom Nield to Referee Sunday’s FA Cup Tie Between Bolton and Stockport County

There’s been a small change in Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup first-round tie between Bolton and Stockport County. Tom Nield will now take charge of the match on Sunday instead of Christopher Sarginson who was initially scheduled to referee the match.
Sarginson had been pencilled in to oversee events at the Mazuma Stadium and will thus now referee the match between Morecambe and Newport County.
Nield has refereed a total of 12 fixtures this season up till now and has issued 59 yellow cards and one red card so far.
Nield was also the one who officiated the clash between Bolton and Cambridge United back on August 28th. However, this will be Nield’s first match in charge of Stockport County.
