Stratford Town Sign Two New Goalkeepers

Stratford Town Sign Two New Goalkeepers
After their regular keeper, Liam O’Brien, was injured midweek, Stratford Town have wasted no time in making sure their defences remain strong.
Joining Stratford Town are two new goalkeepers to bolster the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division side’s defence.
The first goalkeeper arriving at the Arden Garages Stadium is Queen Park Rangers’ Under-23 stopper Murphy Maloney who joins the Bards on a one-month loan deal. He will be reuniting with Stratford Town boss Tim Flowers who is a former Queen Park Ranger assistant manager.
Joining Maloney is 24-year-old Richard Walton who had been with AFC Rushden & Diamonds since the summer of 2020 following his departure from Tamworth. Walton is a Lincoln City academy graduate and has previously played for the likes of notorious clubs such as Coalville Town, Matlock Town, Gainsborough Trinity, Biggleswade Town, and Evesham United.
