Southend United Set To Sign Ollie Kensdale

Southend United may perhaps soon announce the signing of former Colchester United defender Ollie Kensdale to their squad. The 21-year-old central defender has been spotted training with the Shrimpers and could thus be seen joining the squad at Roots Hall soon. He was one of the seven under-23 players to depart the U’s back in February. If he does indeed sign with the National League club, we might get to see Kensdale in action during the warm-up against Notts County on Saturday. According to the Southend Echo, the Shrimpers are keen on signing Kensdale once their transfer embargo is lifted.
