Robins Striker Saikou Janneh Joins Shrewsbury Town

Shrewsbury Town have announced that they have signed Bristol City striker Saikou Janneh on a loan deal that will keep him at Montgomery Waters Meadow until the end of the season. The Bristol City academy graduate, who joined the Robins back in 2018, joins EFL League One side Shrewsbury Town with the experience of having played for Newport County and Torquay United previously on loan as well. The 21-year-old striker netted his first goal for Newport in the 1–0 League Two win against Tranmere Rovers in October 2020. Janneh has played six times for the Robins' first team, scoring twice during the EFL Cup first round clash against Forest Green last August.
