AFC Telford United Sign Sligo Rovers Striker Andre Wright

AFC Telford United have announced a new addition to the Bucks’ squad. Joining the National League North side is Andre Wright who arrives at New Bucks Head from Sligo Rovers after signing a contract that will keep him with the Bucks for the rest of the current season. Wright, who is a West Bromwich Albion academy graduate, started off his career with the Baggies where he got the chance to enjoy a number of loan spells with clubs such as Torquay United and Coventry City. Following his departure from West Bromwich, he went on to play for a number of clubs including Brighton and Hove Albion, Nuneaton Town, Gloucester City, Torquay United, and National League North side Kidderminster Harriers. Wright, 25, joined Sligo Rovers in August 2021 from Ayr United. Wright will go directly into action as he joins the Bucks’ squad for tomorrow’s 2022 opener at Chester.
