Bucks Defender Arlen Birch Ruled Out For Four Years

Due to issues of bone growth in both of his heels, AFC Telford defender Arlen Birch may be facing four years off the field. He was medically treated with injections but it is apparent that they did not work since the problem resurfaced after the recent clash between the Bucks and Leamington. The 25-year-old former England youth international received the news earlier this week from his doctors that he may have to sit on the sidelines away from football due to the problem in his heels. Fortunately for Birch, Telford has said that Birch will be given the chance to work with the Bucks Under-18 squad in order to support him in any way they can.
