Pete Wild, boss of FC Halifax Town to bolster his squad

Pete Wild is trying to build up his squad in time for the Solihull Moors game this Saturday after various issues including some players self isolating due to Covid.
“Jamie Allen and Jack Senior can come back Thursday and Friday, so they come into contention for Saturday,” Wild said. "We certainly need a forward, we’ll try to get a forward in. I’ll have a look at it but we could do with a couple of additions if we can. We let Gevaro go because we had enough numbers, we’d committed to him going and then other people in the squad pick up coronavirus. We can’t recall Kian Spence at Scarborough in the first 28 days, which ends on Friday, so we couldn’t call him back. It is what it is, we’ve got to push on, and move on. There’s no victim mentality here, there’s no pointing here, there’s no pointing fingers that it’s everybody else’s fault. We’ve just got to keep going and that’s what we’ll do.
"Everybody was probably thinking ‘why have you brought Jake Hyde off with a minute to go because you’re trying to score’ but Jake’s cramped up and can’t move his body, so we need somebody who can run around, so we throw Jay Benn on to go and run around,” Wild added.
