United Counties League pays tribute to Brian Abrahams

The United Counties League paid tribute after the news of the sad passing of Eynesbury Rovers President and Stalwart, Brian Abraham. He was an indispensable force, joining in the early 70s as team manager and then went on to serve in many positions. Under his tenure, the club went from League One to the Premier Division within the United Counties League. ‘Off the field his contribution was immense having built the current clubhouse and the committee room’, a spokesman went onto say. A minute’s silence was held in his memory ahead of the League’s Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division match. Source: theucl.co.uk
